Niidl&treds (Needle & Threads) is an African tailoring brand established in 2022 in Dublin, Ireland, with a passion for creating beautifully tailored African attire for men and women.
Our journey began after moving to Ireland in 2020 and recognising the challenges many Africans abroad faced in accessing quality African tailoring services. From fabrics sitting not sown for years to outfits purchased abroad requiring alterations, we saw the need for a reliable, creative, and accessible tailoring service.
With years of experience in the fashion industry, we created Niidl&treds to bridge that gap — bringing clients' ideas to life through custom tailoring, traditional and contemporary African wear, and professional alterations.
We have proudly served over 500 clients, creating everything from elegant women's dresses and men's kaftans to custom-designed pieces for special occasions. Our commitment to quality, attention to detail, creativity, and customer satisfaction has helped us build lasting relationships with our clients and earn their continued trust and referrals.
